Kris Ercums will discuss SMoA’s upcoming exhibition Temporal Turn, exploring speculative-based creative practice in contemporary art from Asia. Featuring artists examining the future, adapting scientific methods, historical & cultural perspectives, resulting in hybrid approaches to the construct of future time. The show will examine the relationship between speculative inquiry & real-world debates on nationalism, globalization & cosmopolitanism in contemporary Asia.
