R 20th Century currently has a show up by Christian Wassmann called 5 Platonic Objects, highlighting Platonic Solids, a term coined for Plato, who conjectured that the classical elements (earth, air, fire, water, and aether) were composed of these regular polyhedrons.
Turns out there are numerous artists and designers who have also found inspiration in Tetrahedrons (4 faces), Hexahedrons (6 faces aka Cubes), Octahedrons (8 faces), Dodecahedrons (12 faces), and Icosahedrons (20 faces).
Enjoy!
