Text & the Body

I've always had a penchant for works of fine art that incorporate text and/or typography in some way. Ed Ruscha is probably my favorite artist who plays with this (I literally gasped aloud when I saw Oof [1962] in person), but Holzer also does it extremely well. I love the juxtaposition of these two pieces - both incorporate/invoke the body, but in two very different ways.
