Art Toronto is delighted to
announce that Winnipeg-based artist Sarah Anne Johnson will produce a
limited edition chromogenic print with applied gold leaf to benefit programming
initiatives at the Museum of Contemporary Canadian Art. Sarah Anne
Johnson is the recipient of numerous grants and awards, including the Grange
Prize (now the Aimia | AGO Photography Prize), and a major grant from the
Manitoba Arts Council. She is included in several distinguished collections
including the Guggenheim Museum in New York, and the National Gallery of
Canada. Sarah Anne Johnson’s multiple c-print will set the aesthetic for Art
Toronto 2013’s graphics, and be showcased in the 2013 catalogue. This is the
fifth year Art Toronto and MOCCA have commissioned an artist to produce the Art
Toronto MOCCA Benefit Edition, a fundraiser for MOCCA. Gold Box
will be available for purchase on-site at Art Toronto 2013.
