By Appointment is the new personalized buyers service for Art16. If you want to purchase an artwork at the Fair but need advice, their expert art advisors are on hand to help you choose the perfect piece. Here are four advisors that will be working with Art16:

Nicholas Campbell
After studying History of Art and Arts Management at Oxford Brookes University, Nicholas worked at some high-end galleries such as Emmanuel Perrotin, Haunch of Venison, Victoria Miro, White Cube and Christies in New York. Nicholas founded Narcissus Arts in 2010 and since 2013 he has dedicated all of his time to developing Narcissus Arts and it’s sister company, Narcissus Interiors. Nicholas has featured in editorial pieces for publications such as The New York Times, Vanity Fair and the BBC amongst others. In 2014 Spears Magazine chose Nicholas as the UK’s best art consultant under 35. Narcissus Arts offers a unique service to private individuals looking to buy a work of art, or perhaps start building a collection, but who are generally not wanting to spend more than £10,000.

Elmerice Habsburg-Lothringen
After leaving her position as Marketing & Business Development Manager at one of the world's leading art investment houses, Elmerice now works as a London-based independent art consultant that provides professional advice to individuals and corporations regarding how to collect and trade art in a well-informed and secure way. Elmerice has a business background but devoted her time fully to the art world after working for an Italian Art Foundation and graduating from Sotheby’s Institute of Art with a Master in Art Business. Her art consultancy provides independent expert advice and specialist services on all areas of the art collection process, with a huge focus on emerging contemporary artists, but also deals with the project management and strategic advice for various art-related businesses.

Helen Ho
Helen is recognised as a specialist in Chinese contemporary art. She is the curator of one of the most prominent private collections of Chinese contemporary art in Europe, and has consulted with private clients, galleries and auction houses in the UK, Europe and Asia. Helen is a published author of numerous articles and dissertations on Chinese contemporary art. A former specialist consultant to Bonhams London and currently consulting with Paddle8 as their Asian contemporary art specialist, Helen operates as an independent researcher and adviser, collaborating with international collectors and institutions on major assignments including touring exhibitions, collection management, as well as general acquisition and sale of artworks. Helen holds a Master’s degree in Art Business and a postgraduate diploma in Fine & Decorative Arts from Sotheby’s Institute of Art London.

Mie Mortensen
Mie is an art historian with a background in the auction and gallery worlds who is now focusing on helping private clients develop a deeper understanding of art. Her main focus areas are modern and contemporary. Within the educational aspect, she focuses on how to start a collection, how to be comfortable in the art world and buying art securely and enjoying it. With her background also working with young emerging artists and markets, establishing a platform to make art more approachable both for the artist and the buyer is very important. Conversations are key factors that make art more interesting and fun.
