In our July/August issue, contributor and art lawyer Sergio Muñoz Sarmiento reflects on a recent incident at Pérez Art Museum Miami, where a local artist vandalized an Ai Weiwei sculpture by smashing it on the floor, in a partial homage to Ai’s iconic work, Dropping a Han Dynasty Urn (1995). In our Fine Print column, Sarmiento tackles the question of whether both acts could be considered forms of artistic expression.
