Art, food and wine: always a winning combination, especially during a visit to Bedell Cellars in the North Fork. If you are in the Hamptons and seeking a fun daytime activity, the winery is a car ride away — you can also arrive by taking one or two ferries.

Owned now by the Lynne family, Bedell Cellars offers visitors wine as well as a chance to view the beautifully crafted, specially commissioned wine labels by renown artists such as Chuck CloseEric FischlBarbara Kruger,  April Gornik and Ross Bleckner

Close created the daguerrotype of grapes on Bedell Musée wine bottles, and Fischl painted a watercolor of a dancer for the Bedell Cellars Merlot. It is wonderful of the owners to support artists with these unique labels.

The owners hosted a delicious lunch for a group, overlooking the beautiful vineyards.

Upon their arrival, visitors can enjoy the very chic tasting room, once a barn built in 1919, and also explore where the wine is aged in barrels and stainless steel.

Bedell Cellars has also hosts beautiful weddings and fun parties at the winery.
