David Salle's six large-scale paintings at The Lever House Art Collection reference 17th- and 18th-century Flemish tapestry and historical paintings. Thanks to architect Christian Huber, these works look like they are floating in space. On a freezing February day it is uplifting to see bright colors—turquoise, acid green, orange, and red in Salle's works.

Originally scheduled for October 20–January 25, the show was extended through February 22, 2013.
