Espace Louis Vuitton is a new exhibition space in Venice sponsored by the luxury fashion house.

Tony Ourlser was commissioned to create a work in response to the painting, "Othello," by Pompeo Molmenti. Ourlser said that he was referencing the significance of "Venice" in this Shakespeare play, which he re-read.

Visually, "The painting was the size of an HD screen, maybe off just an inch or two." He wanted to create a moving snapshot in his own style inspired by the painting.

All the characters speak but they do not speak to each other. Like today, "Everyone is in their own informational bubble."

Oursler's work, "Strawberry-Ecstay-Green," 2013,  is a video projection with glass and sound on view at Espace Louis Vuitton in Venice.
