New York
Don’t miss Magen H Gallery’s “Art et Industrie” exhibition celebrating New York’s very own postmodern movement, which closes on the 4th.
On the 10th Maison Gerard opens guest-curator James Hedges’ exhibition “Two Days in the Life of Andy…,” featuring rare photographs of Andy Warhol taken by Robert Levin in 1981.

You have until the 15th to catch “Man, Rock, Drill” at Johnson Trading Gallery, Max Lamb’s show of all new marble works—chairs, tables, lights—created over the course of a month at a quarry in Vermont.
Patrick Parrish Gallery closes an exhibition of vessels, sculpture, and lighting by Doug Johnston, “what it is” on the 23rd.
“From Pearls to Plastic,” the Newark Museum’s exhibition showcasing the institution’s comprehensive jewelry collection, closes on January 1st.

Auctions
December is chockablock with design auctions. First up is Chicago’s Wright, which will sell Important Italian Glass From Selected Private Collections on the 8th, followed by Design on the 10th. Next up is Phillips, who will host Design and Design Masters on the 15th. Sotheby’s brings Important Design on the 16th and finally Christie’s hits us with a record 4 sales over the 17th and 18th: Design Masterworks, Masterworks of 20th Century Design: An Important Private New York Collection, An Important Collection of Art Deco Masterpieces, and Design.
