Art Basel announced the exhibitors for its first Miami Beach fair in the renovated convention center.

Art Basel announced the exhibitor list for its Miami Beach fair in a press release that contained one very good bit of news for the art world: The renovations to the fair’s longtime venue, the Miami Beach Convention Center, are finally complete. “Together with the redesigned floorplan and enhanced layout, the upgraded facilities will provide a premier platform for the exhibiting galleries,” the release stated.

Like last year, the mega-fair will feature 268 exhibitors. In the Galleries sector, 198 dealers will be present, 12 of which got called up from the supporting sectors: Boers-Li Gallery, Canada, David Castillo Gallery, DC Moore Gallery, Essex Street, Tanya Leighton, mor charpentier, Proyectos Monclova, Ratio 3, Simões de Assis Galeria de Arte, Travesía Cuatro and Galerie Georges-Philippe & Nathalie Vallois. Kayne Griffin Corcoran and Cardi Gallery are completely new to the fair, and Barbara Thumm is back after a hiatus.

Other sectors include Positions, which has emerging galleries presenting a project by a single artist; Nova, which allows galleries the opportunity to show up to three artists; Survey, which features work made before 2000; Kabinett, which allows galleries to present themed exhibitions within their booths; and Edition, which focuses on prints.
