David Kordansky Gallery now represents American artist Martha Diamond.

David Kordansky Gallery has announced representation of American painter Martha Diamond. The gallery will exhibit works by the artist at Paris+ par Art Basel in October, and stage a solo show at its Los Angeles space next March.

Known for her abstract expressionist paintings of New York cityscapes, Diamond first gained recognition in the 1970s as part of the city’s emerging poetry scene. In 1989, she was included in the Whitney Biennial, and her artworks can be found in the permanent collections including The Museum of Modern Art, The Guggenheim Museum, and The Art Institute of Chicago.
