Director of B2C Growth
The Director of B2C Growth will lead the planning and implementation of Artsy’s multi-channel collector acquisition programs
A key leader within the marketing team, the Director of B2C Growth will be responsible for designing and executing strategies to acquire users of commercial value to Artsy. In addition, this individual will serve as Marketing’s senior point of contact with Artsy’s Auctions business, overseeing all consumer marketing programs executed on behalf of the auctions team.
This individual will guide members of the growth team in the implementation of marketing tactics, their measurement and optimization, and will take the lead in creating reporting frameworks to provide an executive-level account of progress and findings to Artsy’s leadership team. This leader will collaborate with our analytics and product teams to track conversion rates, measure and guide parameters for responsible spending, and recommend product improvements that will maximize the impact of our marketing spend. In the context of the Auctions business, this individual will play a key role in scaling a nascent but highly successful business by acquiring larger and newer commercial audiences, helping secure the success of auctions on our platform and the overall growth of the Artsy marketplace. In addition, this leader will closely collaborate with our brand team in the development of creative assets necessary for all acquisition campaigns. This is a high-visibility position with great opportunity for learning and impact.
- 5+ years of experience in multi-channel marketing either at a high-growth, tech company or at digital agencies
- Deep understanding of a wide range of consumer channels online and offline, with emphasis on direct marketing, including social, search, mobile and display
- Rigorous thinking; strong analytical and Excel skills
- Experience at top strategy consulting company (McKinsey, BCG, Bain) or Strategy/Analysis position within a digital agency desirable
- Proven ability to collaborate in the creative development process
- Excellent communication skills
- Superb presentation skills, including use of Powerpoint/Slides
