How to Set Up Artsy’s New Widgets for iOS

The new Artsy widgets bring art and art news right to your home screen, so you can discover new artists and artworks every day.

Two great widgets, all the latest art

The New This Week widget lets you enjoy a curated selection of newly uploaded artworks from galleries, fairs, and auctions. Every day, fresh artworks are displayed on your home screen from our weekly curated New This Week collection. All the works featured in New This Week are available for sale, meaning you can tap through from your home screen to collect works you love.

The Editorial widget gives you all the latest news from Artsy Editorial, and it’s updated regularly so you’ll never miss a story.

Download one—or both

Both widgets come in three sizes, featuring either single or multiple artworks or stories. And with the largest size, new to iOS, you can display a single artwork across a large area of your iPad screen and really see the details. The widgets can be moved around the screen, so you can arrange them however you like.

Here’s how to get them:

• Navigate to your device home screen
• Tap and hold any icon to edit apps and widgets
• Tap on the + in the upper left corner of the screen
• Search or scroll down to find Artsy
• Swipe left and right to choose the widget you want, from a range of sizes
• Tap “Add Widget”
• Tap and hold to move the widget wherever you want it on your screen
• Tap “Done”
