Born in Harlingen, Texas, Trey has used a unique mix of commercial and fine art throughout his career.  For many years he was an art director and creative director for publications that include Vogue, Vanity Fair, Allure and US Weekly.  With access to one of the world's largest collections of vintage paint-by-number paintings, Trey has been able to explore the themes of hope, love, longing and transformation using the formal paint-by-numbers with affirmations, double entendre and word play.  He has had solo exhibits in Texas and New York, and one of his paintings was acquired by the Microsoft Art Collection.  Previously Trey has collaborated with Fred Perry, Stella McCartney and Anthropologie Home.  He currently is collaborating with 20x200, Little Collector and Jonathan Adler.  When asked about the ADL's Centennial theme, Trey responded "Right off, I wouldn't begin by imagining the opposite of a negative... don't imagine what you don’t want. Imagine what you do want: Peace."  The piece of art he will be displaying at ADL ArtWorks is a reflection, "art is in the eye of the viewer and not in the work, so it turns it back to YOU [to imagine a world without hate]."
