Universal Limited Art Editions (ULAE): Tam Van Tran

In his own words, Vietnamese artist Tam Van Tran is “intensely interested in the transitory nature of all materials”. Once transient himself, Van Tran immigrated to the United States just prior to the fall of South Vietnam; drawing from his memories of the Eastern landscape, his works use unconventional materials and natural elements—like chlorophyll and spirulina—to explore the nature of his world.
