Leslie Hewitt @ Sikkema Jenkins

I love how Leslie Hewitt captures the disjointedness of thoughts and memory. Her works in this show are an incurable combination of sensory experiences--the tactile things that provoke memory to the front of mind, the once considering the shape these images are, they suddenly they become sculptures. And the play of strong images against one another brings sound into the work as well. A completely immersive exhibition.

This show is one of my favorite this month.
