Shapes of Color

The theme for my exhibition is Line, Form and Color. I chose a selection of works done by various artists who display the complexity of lines while using vibrant colors to bring out unity within each work of art. What brings each piece together is the use of simple lines and geometric shapes as well as basic drawing techniques that form visual complexity. What I want this exhibition to portray is motion through the use of the color done by the artist and how they transition across their image plane. The questions addressed should be, why the artists chose these striking colors instead of cooler, calmer ones. Color is the most important component of this exhibition and I believe in most cases can either bring life to your work or destroy it.
