The artists Hélio Fervenza (Anne of Deliverance, 1963) and Odires Mlászho (Mandirituba, 1960) were invited to produce new works for the exhibition. As pointed out by Pérez-Oramas: "Both are artists who undertook a dense production, sustained by a systematic effort to formal intelligence and whose works, complex and rich, worth receiving further studied by the contemporary critics. Their works that are little known outside Brazil, will no doubt be revelations to international audiences.
