PR ENG - BREEZY X $WHALE: HACKATAO
$Whale and Breezy started a long-term collaboration to provide a narrative to the $WHALE's "The Vault", one of the largest and most valuable collections of NFTs in the entire space through art curation. Each month we will highlight a specific creator or theme, through rich visuals, high-profile artist interviews, gallery events, and more. The focus is to foster an interactive experience complete with catalogs, newsletters, and other media to explore. The artist of the month of January is Hackatao.
This month, for the project BREEZY CURATES $WHALE, we decided to present the amazing artistic duo Hackatao, amongst the pioneers of crypto art.
Through the discovery of the 15 masterpieces of The Vault collection, we will take you through the journey of one of the most exciting creating processes of the crypto art scene, of the union of two different souls, natures, elements, identities, personalities, and styles.
The Tao gives birth to One. One gives birth to yin and yang. Yin and yang give birth to all things. The complete whole is the complete whole. So also is any part the complete whole.

Hackatao’s creative union was born with the “Podmorks”, little ceramic sculptures decorated with drawings and acrylic, and from then on, it continued on canvas with a unique and recognizable style made of pop figures colored with a flat style alternate with an intertwining of drawings. These characters have tattooed on their skin the main issues of society, environment, humanity, and crypto, as well as references to art history, symbolism, psychology, gaming.
Until 2018, when they entered the world of art and blockchain, being amongst the few who firmly believed in the future power of crypto art. From there, Hackatao actively participated in discussions with the blockchain platforms on the recognition of the artist's figure and about the space development, also undertaking important collaborations with artists and creators, always in a perspective of pushing the boundaries of the use of technology in art - Augmented Reality, VR, 3D, and pixels - as well as that of the blockchain.
And here we are today, admiring and enjoying their very important presence in one of the biggest crypto art collections of all time: The Vault by $Whale.
At the end of the month, the appointment is with the always breathtaking shows on the Arium platform in the $Whale space and a special performance that is yet to be announced!
