As of this week, Ch.ACO will be receiving submissions from editorials and publishing houses from all over the world, who will be in the running up for the possibility to print a publication, free of cost, with Ograma Printers. The publication, given the celebratory context of Ch.ACO’s anniversary, will have to abide to single requisite: its main theme will have to somehow be related to the topic of “celebration”.
The application process will be open until June 15th (more information on chaco.cl) and once closed, a designated committee made up by Tonic Magazine Founder and Director Camila Opazo; FAVA Foundation Director Irene Abujatum; journalist and columnist Paula Escobar; DIBAM Assistant Manager of the Public Library System Gonzalo Oyarzún and Ograma Virtual Publicity Director Andrés Urrutia, will be in charge of selecting the winner publication.
This initiative, done for the first time, seeks to incentive young publishing houses and also to position “Nave de Ediciones”, Ch.ACO’s section dedicated to national and international print publications to be curated by Camila Opazo this year, as a platform that not only gives visibility but also supports the development of young independent editorial projects.
