Dreaming In Neon

Tomorrow marks the kick off of “Neon Dreams,” an ever-colorful online-only sale at Christie’s presenting artwork by Yayoi Kusama, Takashi Murakami, and Yoshitomo Nara. Over 130 prints and multiples will be at auction online from September 17 to October 1, 2013. The sale coincides with Asia Week New York, First Open and Fashion Week in New York; in the last few decades, these three artists have greatly influenced design, fashion, and culture worldwide.

The sale features fun, vibrant art, ranging from prints, lithographs, woodcuts, and even a few ceramic pumpkins. The works are estimated to range from $800 to $60,000, presenting an opportunity for new collectors to get into the game, as well as luring in seasoned collectors.
