Special Event: Contemporary Video Art

From January 26-29, Christie's is offering the public a free, contemporary video art exhibition. Featuring Bill Viola and Eve Sussman | Rufus Corporation,  the works can be seen beside the works presented for Old Masters Week. 

Sussman’s 2005 film The Rape of the Sabine Women and Viola’s 2002 installation The Last Angel, take their inspiration from the same mythical subject matter that inspired the great masters of European Art, including Leonardo da Vinci and Peter Paul Rubens, among others.
