Slave to Love

We're coming up on a few major events--Chinese New Year, Valentine's Day, and the annual College Art Association (CAA) conference which brings together some 5,000 art historians and artists from the U.S. and abroad. Join us! Artsy will be hosting a session at CAA on Feb 14th.

Young people are always asking me for advice about careers in art history. I think it's like anything else--do what you are passionate about. I once asked my wonderful professor Angela Howard how she decided to dedicate her life to researching Buddhist art. She replied, I am a slave to it!
