Marina Abramovic and MOCA LA

This work by Marina Abramovic, who is one of my favorite artists, reminds me of the somewhat controversial reenactment of this piece at the 2011 MOCA gala. It caused quite the stir at the time! I like the relationship between Abramovic, who has always been somewhat controversial herself, and the museum, which continues to be a focal point of contention in the Los Angeles art world.
