Robert Irwin literally "let the light in"

When I think about California Art I invariably think about the Light and Space Movement, as it came as direct result of Los Angeles’ fabled light and temperate climate.  I love how Robert Irwin removed the glass from these window panes to literally “let the light in”.  I can almost breathe it.
