Honor Fraser: Dawn Kasper

Not one to avoid controversy, Dawn Kasper takes her practice on the road, setting up temporary studios in institutions, most recently with the massive hoard she amassed and lived in for a week during the 2012 Whitney Biennial. The photoprints here—made during this performance-installation at the Whitney—further Kasper’s interest in deconstructing the artistic process, documenting the various idiosyncratic props that made their way into her work.
