Jeff Koons and Cindy Sherman are creating works in editions of 50 each for the Foundation for Art and Preservation in Embassies. Koons will offer prints, Sherman photographs, and the pieces will be shown in Washington, D.C., on April 20th, when American embassies and consulates across the globe will vie for display of the pieces in their locations. The suspense about who will replace Alain Seban as president of the Centre Pompidou in Paris continues. Serge Lasvignes, a top-ranking government general secretary, is rumored to be a surprise contender for the post, an appointment that French president François Hollande is expected to announce in the coming days. SITE Santa Fe has appointed five international curators, including Pablo León de la Barra, to organize its 2016 edition of SITELines. The theme and artists are set to be announced in February 2016. (via Artforum)
