Robert Motherwell at The Armory Show 2014

This past week, The Armory Show took over Piers 92 and 94 in New York City, featuring over 200 exhibitors and thousands of artworks. Among them were several works by Robert Motherwell including Beside the Sea No. 15 (1962), Open No. 57: Green and Black (1969–70), and Geneva Collage (1974). Works present at the show ranged in style and size, representing an intersection of the artist’s oeuvre primarily from the 1960s and 70s.
