Venetian Glass by Carlo Scarpa: The Venini Company, 1932–1947
Metropolitan Museum of Art
November 5th 2013 – March 2nd 2014/ New York NY, USA

At the Met, an exhibition of his work is organized chronologically, and the pieces in the exhibition will be grouped according to technique. Thoroughly modernizing glassmaking, Scarpa’s glass designs went far beyond being perceived as decorative or utilitarian objects.
