Studio Visit/ Johanna Grawunder, San Francisco

Johanna Grawunder is a designer and architect based in Milan, Italy and San Francisco. Her studio works on a broad range of projects, including architecture and interiors, custom installation commissions, limited edition furniture and lights (represented by Carpenters Workshop Gallery in Paris and London ) and product design including exclusive lights for FLOS and collections for GlasItalia.

DM/ If your studio were a person, how would you describe him/her?

JG/  Efficient, flexible and curious.

DM/ What is your favorite tool in the studio?

JG/  My iPad stylus. I use it constantly to draw on my ipad, using Apps like Brushes.
