Willie Torbert at The Taubman Museum of Art
Detour Gallery is thrilled to announce that our own Willie Torbert has been invited to participate in Reclamation! Pan African Works from the Beth Rudin DeWoody Collection at the Taubman Museum of Art in Virginia
DeWoody, an avid art collector, curator and Whitney Museum Board member, is showcasing approximately 100 works from her private collection, which now includes several of Torbert's paintings.
Torbert's work is a perfect fit for this exhibition covering such diverse topics as race and representation to global migration.
