Meyer Vaisman, Artist’s Signature (Negative) A, 2014, at Eleven Rivington

I saw Meyer’s show at the gallery and loved it so much. I really crave another viewing!

Alex Katz, Tarajia, 2014, at Peter Blum Gallery

It’s always a treat to see work by Alex Katz. The people in his paintings are actually all the artists, poets, musicians, and creative people that he meets in life. I actually know Tarajia, the subject here; she’s a good friend of APF’s Director, Casey Fremont.

Shahar Yahalom, Untitled, 2015, at Artis

I’m not very familiar with this artist, but I know Artis and trust that whomever they are representing is an interesting voice. I’m especially drawn to this piece; I’m looking forward to seeing it in person.
