It’s Design Week. Do your homework and follow four of our favorite—soon your favorite—design-savvy artists.

ROLU is a Minneapolis-based design studio that incorporates principles of outdoor architecture into indoor furniture, and creating pieces that look purposefully unfinished.

Ana KraŠ blurs the personal and the commercial, art and utilitarianism in her wide-ranging body of work, encompassing furniture, household accessories, photographs, illustrations, drawings, and videos.

Thaddeus Wolfe creates improvisational sculptures that are strictly one-of-a-kind, due to a process the necessitates the demolition of each plaster-silica mold.

FAILE is an artistic collaboration between Patrick McNeil and Patrick Miller, whose kinetic, image-saturated paintings, prints, sculptures, and installations have been enlivening public spaces and city and gallery walls since the turn of the 21st century.
