Happy 41st Birthday, Arne Quinze
Artsy Editorial
Whether massive public pavilions or small collages of paper and text, Arne Quinze’s works are identifiable for their frenzied energy and bold mix of materials, colors, and styles. Despite their apparent disorder, however, Quinze asserts a high level of control in his works. “I don’t believe in chaos,” he once said, in reference to his “My Home, My House, My Stilthouse” series. “There is absolutely no chaos. There is only structure. I don’t believe in chaos in life.”
