At his butcher shop-turned-bohemian studio space, Kirchner was notorious for studio sessions with live models that at times turned to, let’s just say... promiscuous behavior. Often containing overtly sexual imagery, Kirchner’s artwork was celebrated by some and shunned by others, but today, we have nothing but admiration for the fearless artist and his unwavering commitment to a modernist life.
