Tracey Emin is known for wearing her heart upon her sleeve; this time, that means a public display in the most iconic crossroads of the world—Times Square. For better or worse, Emin has shared her deepest heartbreaks, longings, and desires, and for the entire month of February at 11:57pm (beginning the three-minute Midnight Moment) the digital billboards of the square will be taken over with her pulsing neon love notes. If still seeking a Valentine, perhaps Emin’s display is the perfect solution; after all, she has said, “art is like a lover whom you run away from but who comes back and picks you up.”
