1. Curator of painting and sculpture at SFMOMA Jenny Gheith said of the artist, “Pessoli fuses classically based tradition with a contemporary creative impulse, formulating a hallucinatory world in which the past is continually reinterpreted and corrupted.”

2. Pessoli creates paintings and sculptures; however in both genres he shows a mastery of uniting color and form, and leaving evidence of the artist’s hand.

3. His works can be found at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), SFMOMA, and the Maramotti Collezione.
