In 2007 she represented Britain at the Venice Biennale, was made a Royal Academician, and received Doctorates from the Royal College of Art, the University of Kent, and London Metropolitan University. In January 2013 the Queen appointed her a Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire.
