Join Electronic Arts Intermix (EAI) tomorrow, Wednesday May 22 at 6:30pm for DENNIS OPPENHEIM: Form-Energy-Subject, a Screening + Conversation. The program will focus on the early video works of Dennis Oppenheim.
EAI is pleased to be presenting Aspen Projects (1970-1971) and Transfer Drawings (1971) as double projections, which is the method of display Oppenheim intended for his works.
Curator Jenny Jaskey will introduce Oppenheim's films and videos. Following the screening, Jaskey will moderate a conversation on the relevance of Oppenheim's works today with New York-based artists A.K. Burns, Ajay Kurian and Yve Laris-Cohen.
