A picture speaks a thousand words! And photography has played one of the most significant roles in documenting and shaping the course of history.

Modern day photographers are using new digital techniques but the “image” however created, still impacts. Renowned photographer Eric Stampfli conveys this in his statement that the photograph still has the power to move the mind and compel one to act.

Like memory itself, a good photograph is so very much more than just the picture. If I am successful in incorporating the other senses, the viewer can experience my work rather than just see it.
