My Highlights from ARCOmadrid 2014
I’ve chosen artists with whom I’ve worked in the past at CA2M (in exhibitions or in the collections), or some whose work I’ve followed for one reason or another. Some are also good friends. In general, all of them use art as a tool to interrogate reality, and add their comments to our complex political existence.
My Selection:
Carlos Irijalba, Paused Sequence, 2013, at Moisés Pérez De Albéniz
Anna Barham, Double Screen (not quite tonight jellylike), 2013, at Arcade
Karmelo Bermejo, Theological Particleboard, 2012, at Carroll / Fletcher
A Kassen, The Color of Things (Granite), 2013, at Galleri Nicolai Wallner
Andrea Canepa, Serie La Gloria Perdida Sugeto 1, 2014, at Rosa.Santos
Fermín Jiménez Landa, Menos por menos es más, 2012, at Galería Bacelos
