Tom Eccles and Amy Zion (Bard College, New York) return to coorganize Frieze Talks, which pairs today’s most searching and innovative literary figures with artists, writers, and curators working in the contemporary art field. Taking place Friday through Sunday in the Talks Lounge, program highlights include: Simone Leigh (artist) in conversation with Saidiya Hartman (professor, Columbia University) (Friday, 12.30pm): Sheila Heti (artist) in conversation with Josephine Decker (performer, filmmaker) (Friday, 3.00pm); Aruna D’Souza (author) in conversation with Nico Wheadon (Director of Public Programs & Community Engagement, Studio Museum Harlem) and Sable Elyse Smith (artist) (Saturday, 12.30pm); Andrew Durbin (US. Senior Editor, frieze) in conversation with T.J. Wilcox (artist) (Saturday, 3pm); and Valeria Luiselli (author) with Terence Gower (artist) (Sunday 12:30pm).
