This fall, Elmgreen & Dragset open their largest exhibition to date in Denmark, Biography, at The National Gallery of Denmark (Copenhagen). Weaving together works from throughout their career, Elmgreen & Dragset play with the idea of narratives within the context of the exhibition. The juxtaposition of works in unexpected combinations creates a space for new meanings, allowing the spectator to explore the idea of an exhibition and the idea of a body of work.

Collaborating since 1995, Elmgreen & Dragset have established themselves as two of the most eminent figures in contemporary art. Taking on the ideas of masculinity, sexuality, the dichotomy between wealth and value, as well as other social and cultural issues, the artists have used a variety of mediums including installation, sculpture, photography and video work, all present within this exhibition.

The show opens September 19, and runs through January 4, 2015.
