Explain This

This painting by Gary Koenitzer is partly an homage to  Gauguin except this Tahitian native appears to be somewhere in iceland.  The title  “  Explian this “ is a general reference to our unexplainable existence.  At the same time it seeks to mirror how gloriously fantastic it all is.
