A wrong turn uncovers a hidden gem, a mistake in the science lab heralds a new discovery, a slip of the tongue results in a brilliant new phrase. Accidents can lead to all kinds of wonderful, unimagined outcomes.

‘Fuck I Missed’ is the new exhibition from Defi Gagliardo at Galeria UNION, opening Friday 28 November. The show celebrates moments of chaos and error which create unintentional beauty.

The exhibition showcases more than 50 artworks in a wide range of formats; from abstract canvas works, wood collages and miniature sculptures, Defi's vibrant, energetic, joyful world will be present in all its forms.

With an established international profile, Defi has exhibited around the world, in the Sao Paulo museum, London, Berlin and Los Angeles.

The artist's multi-faceted talents are evident as part of FASE, a multi-media collective which works in motion graphics, illustration and music, and Lindo Killer, his fashion line.

UNION is a gallery and project space which brings together work from South American artists in a celebration of emerging and contemporary art. The space is run by Marina Charles and Jonathan Robson, founders of arts organisation graffitimundo.
