Clark Mclean Graham: Artist Statement

In my work video is a direct recreation of memory and thought. As a medium it allows for direct representation of artistic intent. The endoskeletal structures of the sculptural pieces are made from vividly colored plastic toys. Plastic lasts forever. People grow old and die. I am rearranging them, combining them, and preserving them (i.e. Wax) so they become fixtures in the context of memory.
