thoughts from a serious art eye

I’m just an avid collector of original art.  To me, the art industry is stamping out artists who copy their mentors or copy other artists. And isn't art supposed to be about original concepts and new ideas, and that is what Kimber Berry delivers.  She is probably the most authentic artist of her generation.   She captures our digital age and our existence with nature in her self-made media formats of digital - utterly relevant to the times.  Being she is the original self-made digital dialog reflecting what we can all do with things like U tube, e-books and home recordings…..her work marks this time of now - perfectly, and may art history find her for being the first.  I’m sure the originality and the nature of serious collection will hold on to these first treasures which mark current time, and become a part of history.  That is what art is meant to do….mark the changes in society, and when they do, they are valuable.  Helen Barnes- TX.
