Introducing TWO x TWO’s OWN it NOW Auction on Artsy

Dear Friends:

Here is your chance to OWN it NOW before the TWO x TWO gala! Once again I have invited two friends to share in the fun of highlighting works in the 2013 auction: Jeffrey Grove, Senior Curator of Special Projects & Research at the Dallas Museum of Art, and Allan Schwartzman, an internationally acclaimed art advisor who represents many clients here in Dallas and around the world.  Jeffrey, Allan, and I each have our own icon to indicate our picks and we encourage you to take an extra look at our selected works: Howard’s Hidden Gems, Jeffrey’s Curator’s Choice, and Allan’s Under the Radar will be noted online, in the auction catalogue and throughout the exhibition.

This year we are adding a modern twist to the OWN it NOW auction. Anyone can bid in the OWN it NOW auction online at http://artsy.net/twoxtwo. The bidding begins on Friday, October 18th, 2013 at 12 noon CST and will close on Thursday, October 24th at 12 noon CST. You may place your bid anytime during the course of the OWN it NOW auction time period on www.artsy.net/twoxtwo. On Thursday, October 24th at 12 noon CST, the highest bid at or above retail value wins the work, so keep checking back on your favorites until the OWN it NOW time period closes. You may place your bid online and continue to bid throughout the week, or you may set your maximum bid and Artsy will bid on increment on your behalf up to your pre-set maximum. If you like, you can also have a TWO x TWO representative bid for you on Artsy. On Thursday, October 24th at 12 noon CST, if the work is still available, it goes into the silent auction under standard TWO x TWO bidding procedure. The winning bidder will be notified by telephone no later than Sunday, October 27th.

Remember you don’t have to be present at TWO x TWO to OWN it NOW. Just look for the OWN it NOW icons pictured above in our auction catalogue and on http://artsy.net/twoxtwo. More details on each of the works listed in OWN it NOW are available in both the print catalogue and at twoxtwo.org.
