The colorful works of the now very famous artist Richard Orlinski are exhibited in the French Domaine de Chamarande until July 3d 2016.
Although Richard Orlinksi is ranked in the Top 10 of the best selling French artists, he is one of the most accessible to a large audience. After having exhibited his works in various situations such as at the mountain top of Courchevel and during the TV show The Voice, Richard Orlinski is now presenting some sculptures that demonstrate his fascination for Pop Art and New Realism in the beautiful Domaine de Chamarande.
The "Born Wild" concept
Drawing his icons from popular imagery - from the polar bear to the great monkey “Kong” which is brandishing a polluter oil barrel and to the huge stiletto heel symbolizing Cinderella – Richard Orlinski aims to transform negative emotions into positive and more civilized ones.
He plays with bright, sometimes fluorescent colors, and mixes contemporary materials like resin and aluminum with more classic ones such as marble or bronze. Thus, like Jeff Koons or Anish Kapoor at Versailles, the gleaming sculptures of Richard Orlinski illuminate the Château de Chamarande, between "Crocodile” (which became a kind of emblem of the artist) and the stainless steel “Tiger” exhibited in the moat.
This event offers an occasion to admire the works of an artist who likes to take his artworks in different places, and at the same time to discover a wonderful, although generally unknown domain.
Richard Orlinski, exhibion until July 3d at the Domaine départemental de Charamande (91730) France.
